Some of the best Books ever (by my point of view)

Hi Guys, sorry about the last review. Turns out that the posting dohicky does not have spell check and for my bad spelling and grammer, I apologise.

Anyway, my editor (who goes by the infamous name of "Mum") asked me to give advice to people who are struggling to find some decent material to read. So I am going to list some books that are a must read for anyone who loves books.

These are my favorite books in the whole world:

The "Young Samurai' series by Chris Bradford. A story about a teenage English boy trapped in Japan, his father murdered by Ninjas and his efforts to return home to his little sister.

'The Medici Seal" by Theresa Breslin, set in Italy in the time of the great Leonardo da Vinci, about the boy who calls himself Matteo and his troubles with the Medici family of whom he stole from. I can't say more because it would ruin the story. Needlees to say, I have read this book 8 times over and still enjoy it.

"Vill@in.net" or "Hero.com". Ever wondered if you could download super powers? Well in these two series, it just turns out that you can. The author, Andy Briggs, wrote these two series, each showing one side of the story, one for the Villains and one for the Heros.

The "City of Bones" written by Cassandra Clare. I must confess I have not finished the series, I am currently in the middle of book 3, City of Glass, but what I have read has blown me away. Yes, it was hard to get into and yes, I did have to reread the first chapter but once I got into the swing of things, I was swept away into a world of Vampires, Werewolves (Everyone seems to be writting about them and Vamps), Angels, Demons and Shadowhunters.

The "Artemis Fowl" series which I reviewed last time. Brilliant and very funny. (POI: The author, Eoin Colfer, was the first author I ever met in the flesh. I saw him at Exclusive Books with my friend "Tom", I even brought my collection of his books, and by that I mean, EVERY single one he ever wrote)

The " Ranger's Apprentice" series by John Flanagan. The series is about a boy named Will, an orphan who is apprenticed to Halt, who is a 'Ranger' (The Medieval version of spec-ops). The whole series is about all the trouble that seems to follow this fun charater along.

The " Gone" series by Micheal Grant is one of the more horrifying books I enjoy to read. I wound not recomend this book to anyone under the age of 12. And whatever you do, do not read this book at night.
but this book is not as bad as I have made it out to be. Imagine a world (Or just a really big place, with about a 100km radius) without adults. Pretty cool, right? But add to your imaginings, mutant kids, mutant animals, a dwindling food supply and one boy who wants to rule. Now that is no picnic.

"Skulduggery Pleasant" by Derek Landy. So Stephanie rocks up at her Uncle Gordan's funeral and meets a guy called Skulduggery Pleasant, who later turns out to be a wise craking skeleton that shoots fire balls out of his hands. She then changes her name to Valkarie Cain (as in "Cain" the guy who murdered his brother in the Bible). She learns magic and fights against paper men, bad magicians and old gods called the "Faceless Ones" (Guess they don't smile alot:)

The "Cherub" series by Robert Muchamore. Another book for people over the age of 10, this time because of Language. So this guy, James, is a bully and he pushes around this girl at schools and recks her face. Her older brother then beats James until he is black and blue. James later wakes up at home and finds out that his mom has died in her sleep. He is then moved to foster care where he gets in trouble with the police. Eventually, he is accepted into Cherub which is a military oganization that uses kids as spies to work undercover.

These are just a few of the books that are on my "Golden" shelf. I am gonna review the others tomorrow cause right now it is about 12:00.

Remember, comment on what books you want me to take a look at and I will do my best to check them out.

First Comment Ever!

Hi Guys (Or whoever starts reading my Blog)
I set this blog to review the lastest and greatest books of all time.

For my first review, I decieded to review a series that may be old but has not lost it's touch!
I'm talking about the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer (pronunced, Owen Colfer). My father read the first book to me when I was 8 years old, but even then I was able to get into it (don't see why my brother of 10 finds it so confusing).

The whole plot of the story was focused around a Twelve-year old, multi-millionare called Artemis Fowl, who discovers that fairys are real and that they have technology that seems space-age.

So he does what most criminals would do, he kidnaps one of them (with the help of his Mansevant, Butler, a huge Eurasian male with a neck wider than most people's bodies) and demands ransom from the super wealthy fairys, at this point, the Fairys launch an all out assault on Artemis's Manor, to try and free their comrade, Captain Holly Short.

There is a whole lot of conflict and a troll (who gets smashed by Butler (Go Butler!)) and Artemis gets his gold and Captain Holly Short returns to her people.

So this week I decieded to review a book that I loved (a timeless classic) but next week, some poor book is in for the chopping block! I will give you ONE clue to the identity to this horror of litriture, it's name starts with Batt...
